A great record by the self proclaimed "Kings of Trash" despite the fact that its shaped like a giant fucking boot and impossible to stash inside a collection of normal shaped 7 inches. The Cannibals were formed by Mike Spencer, a New Yorker who moved to London in 1975 and formed the famed pub rock outfit The Count Bishops. Spencer parted ways with the 'Bishops after just a few recording sessions and formed The Cannibals (sometimes referred to as Mike Spencer & the Cannibals or Five Young Cannibals). According to some scribbles along the bottom edge, the title track was recorded "way back in Nov. 7th 1977" and new vocals were weren't added until the record was released nearly ten years later. The b-side "New Years Eve Song" was recorded in 1985 with an entirely different line-up (aside from Spencer).
